Math tutoring · High school and early college
I studied applied mathematics and statistics at Johns Hopkins, and I work in data analytics today. I tutor because people helped me all the way along, and this is how I pay that back to my community.
Background
- B.S. in Applied Mathematics & Statistics — Johns Hopkins University, graduated with honors.
- Lead Course Assistant — Johns Hopkins Computer Science Department; two years teaching and supporting over 300 students.
- Valedictorian — Coral Gables Senior High, IB Diploma; 1500+ SAT.
What I Can Help With
- Algebra and precalculus — Algebra I and II, geometry, trigonometry.
- Statistics and probability — including AP Statistics and first-year college courses.
- Calculus — AP Calculus AB and BC, and first-year college calculus.
- Other subjects as needed — please ask. If it's an area I feel I can help with, I'd love to.
How It Works
I work with high school students and with anyone in their first couple of years of college. Sessions happen online, or in person around Miami. If you don't have a device or a reliable connection, mention it in the form and we'll find something that works. Send a request and I'll get back to you.
